TRAFFIC & MUNICIPAL VIOLATIONS
If you received a speeding ticket or any other traffic violation it could lead to points on your license and significant fines.
If you accumulate eight or more points in an 18-month period, your driver’s license will be suspended for 30 days. If this is your second suspension, you’ll lose your driving privileges for 60 days, and 90 days on any subsequent suspensions.
If you accumulate 12 or more points in 12 months, 18 or more points in 24 months, or 24 or more points in 36 months, your driver’s license will be suspended for one year.

In most cases, by hiring an attorney, you won’t even need to show up in court. If you have a suspended or revoked license, we work with you to help you have your license reinstated. Our goal is to make the process easy for you so it does not have an impact on your life. At The McKay Law Firm, we aggressively fight your traffic ticket to get those points and fines reduced so your auto insurance does not increase.
